Singapore envoy calls on CM, Governor

CHENNAI: The High Commissioner of Singapore to India, Karen Tan, called on Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat on Wednesday.According to a press release, Karen Tan congratulated the Chief Minister for her resounding victory in the recently held assembly elections and assumption of charge as Chief Minister for the third time. During the meeting, she said Singapore is interested in investing in infrastructure projects in Tamil Nadu.The Singapore High Commissioner was accompanied by Ajit Singh, Deputy Consul General of Singapore in Chennai, and Chan Kah Mei, First Secretary (Economics), Consulate General of Singapore.Karen Ten also called on Governor Surjit Singh Barnala at Raj Bhavan.
