It was complete package of creativity at the annual three-day cultural festival of East Coast Railways organised here this week. The participants of the festival included employees of the railway services and their family members.The festival was inaugurated by president of East Coast Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (ECoRWWO) Anita Vohra. She said the festival aimed at finding out latent talents in the railway family so that they can be groomed further and represent at the national level contests.A huge number of participants showcased their talent on stage during the first two days. Artistes from Waltair, Khurda Road, Sambalpur divisions and zonal headquarters and Mancheswar workshop participated. They performed in  categories like light vocal (solo), classical vocal (solo), instrumental (solo); classical dance  - both in individual and group - and light folk dance in group; contemporary modern dance and drama. Dramas and plays ushered in refreshing portrayals of conventional themes and came in for praise from judges and audiences alike. The closing ceremony at the community hall in Rail Vihar was graced by ECoR General Manager Arvind Kumar Vohra as chief guest on Monday. He adjudged the Cultural Association of ECoR headquarters as the group champion.
