New Delhi: Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh hailed the state police for successfully foiling the terror bid on RSS headquarters on Thursday and rubbished the allegations of the failure of state government’s security systems.
“How can you call it the failure of state government? In fact, we took all corrective measures on the time. I congratulate my police force,” Deshmukh said.
Deshmukh also said the state government will set up Anti-Terrorist Squad offices in Aurangabad and Nagpur in view of the recent spurt terrorist activities in the state.
He also announced a reward of Rs 5 lakh to the police department for successfully averting two major attacks within one month.
