Suicide bomber targets Pak hospital, 11 killed

Peshawar: A suicide bomber targeted a hospital run by the Shia community in Hangu district of Pakistan's restive northwest on Friday, killing at least 11 people and injuring 10 others, the second such attack against the minority group within a week.

The bomber rammed his explosives-laden vehicle into the hospital at Pass-Killay in Hangu region of Khyber Pakhtunkwa province, official sources said.

They said 11 people were killed and 10 others injured in the attack.

Hangu is near Kohat where another suicide attack earlier this week, that also targeted the Shia community, had killed 19 people.
