T Nazir, others shifted to Bangalore jail

KOCHI: The 11 accused in  the Bangalore serial bomb blast case were shifted from Ernakulam Sub-jail to Bangalore Central Prison on Wednesday as the trial in the case begins on Friday.The accused include Thadiyantavide Nazir, the suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba Southern wing commander, and Shafaz, the mastermind behind several bomb blast cases. The other accused are Abdul Jaleel, M H Faisal, P Mujeeb, Ibrahim Moulavi, Badaruddin, Abdul Jabbar, Sabir Buhari, Umar Farooq and Sarfraz Navas.The accused were taken to Bangalore under heavy police guard.They will be brought back to Ernakulam before the trial of the Kashmir recruitment case which will begin on February 29.
