HYDERABAD: The prevailing peace in the state Congress on the Telangana front is set to be shattered soon what with party MPs from Telangana deciding to come up with an action plan to target chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for working with, what they call, a 'Seemandhra mindset'.The MPs also want to lodge a complaint with the party high command on the chief minister's attitude towards the Telangana issue. The MPs are likely to meet on January 16 to finalise their strategy. Their move is also timed to coincide with the Telangana JAC's plan to intensify the statehood movement after January 20.Apparently not pleased with the way TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were moving in Telangana, that too with the security being provided by the government, the Telangana Congress MPs, in a tit-for-tat move, want to visit the Seemandhra region to mobilise people's support there on the state bifurcation issue. And they want the state government to provide the same level of security for them as has been provided to Naidu and Jagan.Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, Congress MP G Vivek alleged that the just-concluded Partnership Summit focused on Seemandhra development while neglecting Telangana. While there was a lot of scope for industrial promotion in Telangana, the Kiran Kumar Reddy government had concentrated on development in and around Hyderabad. Telangana had the potential to attract ` 3 lakh crore investments if bifurcated, he claimed.Kiran Kumar Reddy, governor ESL Narasimhan and DGP V Dinesh Reddy were sending wrong reports to the Centre on the Telangana issue, Vivek alleged. The coming byelections in Telangaan would be treated as a referendum on the Telangana statehood demand, the MP said.
