Demanding cancellation of the Vanpic project deal, the Telugu Desam Party has finalised a new course of agitation.
The party will rope in like-minded political parties and organisations which will be taken up in phases.
The party wants the entire land acquired for the project returned to the farmers who held the lands earlier.
This was decided at a meeting party chief N Chandrababu Naidu held at the party office here on Friday with senior leaders including those from Prakasam and Guntur districts.
Later, a TDP delegation met chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and submitted a letter written by Naidu on the Vanpic issue.
TDP will organise a round table at Ongole in Prakasam district on July 25.
Party leaders and workers from Prakasam and Guntur districts will tour the five mandals and a padayatra will be conducted on August 6 and 7
