HYDERABAD: ProTelangana activists manhandled three leaders of Visalandhra Mahasabha in front of a vernacular TV channel office in Jubilee Hills on Sunday. Later, Visalandhra Mahasabha representatives lodged complaint to Banjara Hills police demanding immediate arrest of the miscreants.
According to police, when Visalandhra Mahasabha president Parakala Prabhakara Rao and other leaders were coming out from the TV channel office, a few proTelangana activists manhandled at least three leaders of the organisation. "After proTelangana activists attack on Mahasabha leaders, they approached us and lodged a complaint seeking immediate arrest of the miscreants. I am discussing the issue with my superiors to book cases against miscreants involved in manhandling the leaders,'' said B Ramesh, subinspector, Banjara Hills police.
