Telangana: Three workers of oil mill die after inhaling poisonous gas

Hyderabad: Three workers died on Saturday after inhaling poisonous gas at an oil mill in Gaganpahad area, police said.

The workers, who had entered the cooling unit of the mill to clean up the oil sludge, fell unconscious after inhaling the gas accumulated inside, RGI Airport Police Station's Inspector T Sudhakar said.

"They were shifted to a nearby hospital but doctors declared them brought dead," the police officer said. The mill had been closed for the last three days for repairs, he said, adding further investigation are on.
