New Delhi: China's Huawei has announced the arrival of it's Ascend P6 in India with a price tag of Rs 29,999. Though Huawei says the device, at 6.18 mm thick, is the world's slimmest, another Chinese manufacturer Umeox had unveiled a 5.6 mm thin X5 soon after the P6 was first announced in June this year.
The Huawei P6 weighs just about 120g. The phone has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, designed for taking "selfies", or pictures of the owner to be shared on social media networks.
Running Android 4.2.2 OS, the smartphone features a 4.7-inch high definition in-cell display and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor. The phone has a metallic body. Its 8 megapixel rear-facing BSI camera with F2.0 aperture and 4cm macro view also enables 1080p full HD video recording and playback.
The Ascend P6 uses Huawei's customised version of Google's Android operating system.
