New Delhi: The makers of 'Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara' were hopeful for a good show at the box-office, but the super charged run of 'Chennai Express' at the ticket window is affecting the former's chances in a big way. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweets, "#OUATIMD got badly affected due to #ChennaiExpress wave in Overseas. Is below the mark, except in UAE-GCC, where it fared the best."
He earlier said, "#ChennaiExpress Overseas total *after Weekend 2* stands at $ 14.16 million [Rs. 89.40 crores]. FANTABULOUS!"
He also tweeted, "#OUATIMD collected approx Rs 40 cr+ nett in its opening weekend [inclusive of Thursday figures]."
'OUATIMD' opened at a positive note but negative reviews hampered its collections. 'OUATIMD' stars Akshay Kumar in the lead role while Shah Rukh Khan is the hero of 'Chennai Express'.
