Cuttack: Three girl students on Saturday allegedly committed suicide after they failed in the HSC examination, police said.Runita Behera of Gopalpur, allegedly hanged herself after failing to clear the exam, police said.Mandakini Swain of Sahanga village in Puri district also allegedly killed herself in the same manner, they said.Snehalata Misal of Gudari in Rayagada district allegedly killed herself by consuming insecticide, they said.While the Cuttack and Rayagada cases were reported to police, the Puri case could not come to the notice of policeas the family members with the help of villagers cremated the girl.The results of the High School Certificate (HSC) exams conducted by the state Board of Secondary Education were declared in the morning with 66.75 per cent students passing in the examination.
