Chennai: A Chennai based IT professional allegedly killed himself after having an argument with his wife over her posting their wedding pictures on Facebook. The couple, which hailed from Jharkhand, got married at a Church in July this year against the wishes of his parents.
The wife had put up their wedding pictures on Facebook and tagged him. His parents had objected to this saying his marriage in a Church wouldn't be seen well by their society.
On Saturday night, the couple got into an argument where the deceased asked his wife to remove those pictures from Facebook, which she refused citing it was a legitimate marriage. He was found hanging in his room the next morning by his wife.
The police have found a suicide note where he had said that he was hurt that the pictures were not removed.
