WARANGAL: The Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers (TNGO) association leaders announced their action plan on Telangana agitation today.It would be intensified from June 5.A resolution to this effect was adopted in the TNGO association’s executive committee meeting held at Hanamkonda today.Speaking to media persons, TNGO association president Swamy Goud and general secretary Devi Prasad said they have decided to launch ‘Grama Bata’ in all villages of the region and ‘Basti Bata’ in the state capital.It is not fair on the part of the Centre to delay carving out separate Telangana from Andhra Pradesh, they said, adding that people in the region were becoming impatient.Agitation will continue till a bill on Telangana is introduced in the Parliament, he asserted.The meeting also discussed various unresolved problems of the employees.The TNGO leaders demanded cancellation of GO 177 which was depriving them of their right to protest.They also demanded regularisation of contract employees’ services and filling up of 2.50 lakh vacant posts in various departments in Telangana. The TNGOs also demanded that people who sacrificed their lives for the cause of Telangana should be identified as freedom fighters and that one person in each of the bereaved families should be provided with government job.On suspension of party rebel Nagam Janardhan Reddy from the TDP, the TNGO leaders said it was undemocratic.
