HYDERABAD: The Telangana Telugu Desam Forum (TTDF) will stage a day-long dharna at the collectorates in Telangana on October 18 in support of Sakala Janula Samme.TTDF convenor E Dayakar Rao told reporters here on Tuesday that TDP MLAs and Assembly segment incharges would take part in the dharna.The TTDF flayed the state government for trying to scuttle the general strike.The people of the region would teach Congress a fitting lesson for its ‘anti-Telangana’ stand.The people of Telangana are ready for any sacrifice to achieve a separate state, Dayakar Rao said.MLA Ravula Chandrasekhara Reddy demanded postponement of the Group-2 examinations as the situation in the Telangana region is not conducive for the conduct of exams. The TTDF leaders urged APPSC chairperson Rachel Chatterjee to postpone the Group-2 exams.Meanwhile, MLA Motkupalli Narasimhulu demanded that the Congress MPs should return from Delhi and join the separate T movement as the party high command is unlikely to take a decision on T at the earliest.He also demanded the immediate resignation of Union petroleum minister S Jaipal Reddy for the Telangana cause.Shankar Rao meets TTDF leadersWhen the TTDF leaders met in the TDLP office to chalk out their future course of action for T, textiles minister P Shankar Rao visited it and held discussions with Dayakar Rao, Narasimhulu and other leaders.However, Shankar Rao said he discussed the corruption issue with the TDP leaders.The minister reminded that he was the first person to sign a memorandum seeking Bharat Ratna award posthumously for former chief minister and TDP founder NT Rama Rao.He said his fight against corruption would not end till all the accused in Raheja and Emaar cases were booked.Rail Roko: BJP Differs With TJACHyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party has differed with the Telangana political joint action committee about the postponement of rail roko from Oct 12 to Oct 15 in view of BJP leader LK Advani’s ratha yatra in Andhra Pradesh on Oct 18 and 19.
