HYDERABAD: Cyberabad police on Saturday unravelled the mystery behind the murder of a real estate broker that took place a year ago with the arrest of two brothers. The deceased, B Mallesh Yadav (23), a real estate broker from Shivasainagar in Neredmet, was found dead on the outskirts of Jawaharnagar gram panchayat in October last year. Neredmet police on Saturday arrested K Satyanarayana, a sand supplier and his elder brother K Venkateswarlu, a mason, both residents of Shivasainagar and natives of Prakasam district.Neredmet police inspector K Venkat Reddy said Satyanarayana purchased a 464 square yard plot from one Balaram in 2003 for `80,000 and constructed a house. Mallesh Yadav, who claimed to be Balaram’s relative, used to visit the house and took `1,500 from Satyanarayana on the pretext of providing electric metre and water connection to the house.Later, Mallesh started demanding money from Satyanarayana alleging that the latter had extended the boundaries illegally.Mallesh also took `1,500 from Satyanarayana’s brother, Venkateswarlu. On October 13 last year, Mallesh went to Satyanarayana’s house and demanded `5,000 alleging that the latter was constructing the house illegally. “Fed up with Mallesh’s frequent demand for money, Satyanarayana decided to eliminate Mallesh. He asked Mallesh to wait at Vayupuri and informed his elder brother about his plan,’’ Venkat Reddy said. The duo took Mallesh on his bike to Vampuguda village, pushed him from the vehicle. Later, they smothered him to death, stuffed the body in a cover and dumped the body on the outskirts of Jawaharnagar gram panchayat. The duo also took away the deceased’s mobile phone and other documents and dumped them in Dammaiguda tank.
