Two suspects held at actor Balakrishnas house

HYDERABAD: Banjara Hills police on Monday arrested two persons moving suspiciously near Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's house.Police seized a knife, chilli powder and a toy pistol from them.According to police, the accused are brothers and hatched a plan to kidnap some persons belonging to rich families in Banjara Hills for easy money.The duo -- Vamsi Krishna (32) and his brother, Prasanna (28) are residents of Mallapur on the city outskirts.Banjara Hills inspector M Sudarshan said the brothers were conducting a recce near KBR Park for the last one month to kidnap a rich person and collect ransom from the family.They have been coming to the place everyday in a Maruti 800 car with fake registration plate and parking it near the garden.During interrogation, the brothers said they have been unemployed for the last two months and decided to kidnap people to get out of financial problems.Police booked cases and investigation is on.
