Vadavaatis new CD released

BANGALORE: Commissioner of Department of Kannada and Culture Manu Baligar has requested clarinet maestro Pandit Narasimhalu Vadavaati to impart music training to underprivileged children.Speaking after releasing Vadavaati’s  ‘Vishwa Sammohini’ CD, recorded by   Lahari music on Wednesday, Baligar recalled the    maestro’s association with Karnataka Sangeetha Nrithya Academy where  he served as the president for three years and trained more than twenty two underprivileged candidates who came from rural background.Manu Baligar asked Vadavaati to continue training underprivileged children.  “Kannada and Culture Department is ready to sponsor it” he assured. Velu of Lahari Music, senior academician Prof KE Radhakrisha were also  present on the occasion.
