Valuables worth Rs 3 lakh stolen from house

BANGALORE: Miscreants who entered a house in Venkatachari Nagar near Railway Colony in Sanjaynagar police limits on Wednesday, made away with gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 3 lakh.According to the police, miscreants entered the house of Daasirathi, when he had gone to office.His wife had gone to relatives' house when the incident was reported.As he returned in the night, the lights were on in the house.Suspecting foul play he called up police, who reached the spot and found that miscreants had entered the house by breaking open the window pane and escaped with valuables, the police said.Sanjayanagar police have registered a case in this regard and are further investigating.
