Kashmir: Twenty-four hours after he termed Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Valley as a force gone out of control, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah now blames "anti-nationals and vested groups" for the ongoing violence in Kashmir.

Tuesday saw the death of three more civilian as the protesters continued to clash with the security forces in Kashmir. The number of civilians killed in the last 48 hours has now reached five.

While Omar accused the CRPF for not being able to control the situation, he also appealed to the people in the Valley to show more restraint.

"I would like to condole for the deaths that have taken place in recent days," said an emotional Omar on Tuesday.

"It is a battle of ideologies in which various anti-national forces and vested groups have come together to create trouble. It's extremely unfortunate," he added.

Meanwhile, ordinary citizens are crying over the economic losses suffered by them. Business has been severely affected by the ongoing protests.

Besides the deteriorating law and order situation in the valley, the other cause of concern for the Jammu and Kashmir government is the security of pilgrims visiting Amarnath shrine. The annual pilgrimage begins on July1. Further violence could put pressure on the government to re-look at its schedule.
