Warehouse to preserve vegetables

Aimed at preserving the vegetables and provisions, the Consumerfed will start a Thermocontrol warehouse in the district. The project is implemented in Kannur, Thrissur and Ernakulam.

“Since Kerala depends on its neighbouring states for vegetables, we are trying to promote vegetable cultivation in the state,” Joy Thomas, ConsumerFed president said.

In Ernakulam, Thermocontrol warehouse will be setup in Consumerfed-owned land at  Pukkatupadi. The project would cost around Rs 7 crore,” Joy Thomas said.
