Will father attend her funeral?

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kaniha- the name itself injects pain to those in Santhipuram, a place located close to the sea. Kaniha, a first standard student, was the only child of Selma, whose husband has been held up in Kuwait with issues over his sponsorship and uncertain whether he would be able to attend the funeral of his child.The body of the five-year-old child was taken to the tiled house, near the fishermen’s colony, in the afternoon from the school, where it was laid for public homage. The mother was informed about her child’s death on Monday itself.When the body arrived in a mobile mortuary, she broke off from her relatives and fell over it. The relatives seemed helpless in consoling the grieved mother. Selma’s mother, who is also working in Kuwait, has been informed  and she is expected to reach here by Wednesday morning.
