Woman IBM staff's fiancee arrested for her murder

New Delhi: Delhi Police on Friday evening arrested the fiancee of Monica Jaiswal for allegedly murdering her on Tuesday night. Ravi Mishra had allegedly locked the door after killing Monica, 22, at her rented flat in Madangir and fled.

The two had worked together in IBM in Gurgaon and were supposed to get married in court on June 14.

Ravi's parents were reportedly reluctant about the marriage. Police say Ravi too had recently changed his mind about marrying Monica, who hailed from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Shockingly it was Ravi who called up the victim's parents and informed that the she was not picking up her mobile phone. Her father, who arrived on Friday morning, discovered her lying in the room with injuries on her head and feet.
