Mumbai:'Lunchbox' actress Nimrat Kaur was the showstopper for Shilpa Reddy's show at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2015 that came to an end recently. After the show, in an exclusive interview with IBNLive.com the 33-year-old actress spoke about her red carpet choices.
When asked about her designer choices for any international appearance, the actress said, "I am very moody about what I need to wear when, like I wore saris at the 'Lunchbox' premiere. So it's all on my mood if I have to pick western or a traditional outfit for my red carpet appearances."
Nimrat looked absolutely gorgeous in the contemporized Indian outfit designed by Shilpa Reddy. The designer's collection was inspired by the moon and titled as 'Moon Lit Sand'. Staying true to the essence of the range, the colour palette comprised gold, silver, white, sand, royal blue, copper, grey and nudes for a timeless edge. The Indo-western range showcased easy-to-wear, timeless silhouettes like skirts, jackets, tops, blouses, capes, pants and lehenga cholis that floated down the ramp in luxurious fabrics like malka and khadi silk.
Speaking about the top trends from her creations, Shilpa said, " I am doing a lot of capes not just with western silhouettes but also with Indian. And I am working on a lot of collars to make the outfits look more strong.
