‘Don’t try to find logic in my illogical life’, said Shah Rukh Khan as he addressed a hall full of reporters at recent ‘Fan’ press conference. Answering IBNLive about the diminishing line between fans and superstar in the times of digitization he said, “There is a lack of personal space for a celebrity but these blurring lines have made the fans realise a superstar’s human aspect as well."
“I have always been an approachable entertainer. 25 years ago people termed it as an inappropriate behaviour considering Bollywood's flamboyancy, but now this young breed has made this appropriate."
According to the ‘Baadshaah’ the game here is to stay among the equals and let your talent in a particular field rise you. "A real star needs to be an equal in the world of equals"
He further added, “There is a horizontal integration. Pepole are getting to know a singular aporoach to our stardom and we are letting them see it."
“Just because I am an actor doesn’t make me special. My talent in the field of entertainment makes me stand out. So in that way, everybody was and is a star in his her own way."
The ‘Dilwale’ actor feels that people are understanding and decoding the meaning of ‘stardom’ and thus Bollywood is coming closer to its fanbase every passing day, a thing that he highly appreciates.
Accompanied by ‘Fan’ director Maneesh Sharma, Shah Rukh Khan also talked about his biggest fan at home, AbRam and called himself his chidren’s biggest fan.
Releasing on April 15, ‘Fan’ will see Shah Rukh Khan in a double role of a superstar Aryan and his biggest fan Gaurav. The film has been much anticipated and will see Shah Rukh Khan venture into something very different for the first time in his career spanning over 25 years.
