Now, it has been found that his son, Junaid Khan, is all set to make his Bollywood debut with the highly anticipated film Maharaj under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The film is directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and will star Shalini Pandey opposite him.
It has been reported that the filmmaker has completed shooting Maharaj and is looking forward to its release. Recently, it has been found that Junaid Khan is shooting for his second film in Japan. On the first day of shooting his second film, the team faced an unexpected snowfall but Junaid showcased his unwavering dedication and continued the shooting of the project.
According to reports, the entire team, including Junaid, remained determined and continued shooting. To keep the project on track, the team has been working 12–14 hours per day. The reports added that Aamir Khan is in constant communication with his son Junaid and the staff to assess the situation properly.
Maharaj is a love drama that stars Junaid Khan, Sharvari, Shalini Pandey and Jaideep Ahlawat in primary roles. The film has completed the shoot and is expected to be released this year. Recently, there were reports that the film will skip a theatrical release and will directly premiere on Netflix.
Junaid Khan was also in the news recently when he was spotted at his sister, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare’s wedding. His uncanny resemblance to Hollywood star Henry Cavill, who played Superman, has kept him in the limelight.
Junaid is Aamir Khan’s eldest son with his first wife, Reena Dutta. The actor also has a daughter with Reema named Ira Khan. Aamir Khan also has a son named Azad with his second wife, Kiran Rao.
