Premgi Amaren, a prominent music composer and actor in Tamil cinema, will reportedly tie the knot soon. The 45-year-old had remained unmarried till now. Whenever he was asked about whether he would get married anytime soon in interviews, he would always divert the question with a humorous reply. On the first day of this year, Premgi shared on his X handle that he would get married this year but did not provide any extra details like the date, venue or even the name of the bride. Following this announcement, earlier this year, rumours arose that Premgi was all set to marry 22-year old singer Vinitha, who is 23 years younger to him. These rumours were soon rubbished by Premgi. Now, a marriage card is going viral. It is said to be Premgi’s wedding invitation. His special day is set for June 9, scheduled between 9 AM to 10.30 AM at the Thiruthani Murugan Temple. The card reveals his bride’s name to be Indhu, hailing from Salem.
It is reportedly an arranged marriage, with Premgi’s family having been actively looking for a suitable bride for him since the last two years.
