The first trailer of the much-awaited film Aiyaary was unveiled on Tuesday afternoon by the makers. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film stars Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher and Rakul Preet in key roles and is slated to release on January 26.

The film features Malhotra as an army officer sharing a mentor-protege bond with Bajpaye and is based on a real-life incident that revolves around two strong-minded army officers having completely different views and are yet right in their own ways.
Pandey, who has previously helmed films like Baby and A Wednesday, is back with another action thriller. And while he keeps the presence of his favourites- Bajpayee, Shah and Kher- intact, the filmmaker has found a new protagonist in Sidharth Malhotra this time.
The film is expected to battle Akshay Kumar's Padman on the Republic Day weekend.
