Allu Arjun, Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Reunion On Cards For Atlee's Film? Here's What We Know
A recent report suggests that Samantha Ruth Prabhu is in talks with Atlee for a film that will star Allu Arjun.

After appearing in the successful film ‘Kushi’ alongside Vijay Deverakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has not signed any Telugu projects, leaving her fans curious about her next move. The latest speculation suggests that she might star opposite Allu Arjun in an upcoming film directed by Atlee, with discussions currently underway between Sam and Atlee.

According to the entertainment portal PinkVilla, Atlee is venturing into uncharted territory in the commercial space with Allu Arjun, and the dynamic pair is gearing up to commence filming by October 2024. Both parties have finalized the subject, and Atlee has begun the casting process for the project. Sources close to the production reveal that Atlee is negotiating with Samantha to come on board as the female lead in the film. If true, this project will mark a reunion for Allu Arjun and Samantha post their collaboration in ‘Son of Satyamurthy.’ Additionally, the duo shared screen space for a song in ‘Pushpa: The Rise.’

The source told the portal, “Samantha and Atlee have previously worked together in Theri and the duo is now in talks for a reunion on the Allu Arjun film. Both of them shared a great bond back in the day and are excited for this reunion. It’s among the most awaited films in present times and will feature some of biggest names of Indian Cinema.”

The highly anticipated Allu Arjun and Atlee project is slated to begin production in October 2024, promising to be a high-budget action extravaganza. Alongside Samantha, the script offers opportunities for additional female leads, with casting procedures already in progress. Allu Arjun is set to conclude filming for ‘Pushpa 2’ shortly, transitioning directly into preparations for Atlee’s upcoming venture. Meanwhile, Samantha is preparing for the release of Raj & DK’S ‘Honey Bunny’ alongside Varun Dhawan.

Samantha had previously announced that she was suffering from Myositis and was taking a break to get treatment. Recently, the actress opened up about her decision to not work for a year.

She told Femina in an interview, “It was the best decision because there’s no way I would have been able to continue working. The stress of work, coupled with the condition, is not the easiest thing to handle. I’m really glad that I gave myself time to recover; I had been working for 13 years straight.”
