Bigg Boss 16 fame Abdu Rozik grabbed headlines when he announced his wedding with Amira. He was trending for the same. However, now a report is coming in that he has postponed his wedding because he has been offered his debut title boxing match, set for July 6th at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. The wedding was supposed to take place on July 7.
According to the E-TImes report, Abdu said, “I never imagined that I’ll get the chance to fight for a title in my life. After so many good things happening this year for my career and my love life, unfortunately, I have to postpone the wedding as this match will give us huge financial security for the future.”
He further talked about his fiancée Amira and said, “Amira supports my decision fully as it will change a lot for us. It’s the first-ever title for someone my size and I have a heavy training camp to endure as well these days.”
In May, Abdu Rozik issued an official statement reacting to those trolling him for getting engaged. He took to his Instagram handle and dropped a video in which he was seen urging trolls to be “kind”. Abdu also penned down a long note and called out “nasty” comments. He argued that they are mocking his decision to get married just because he is small.
“Thank you to everyone who has congratulated me and wished us well but from happy news I also have to talk about something bad that’s happening. I want to say the negative comments and those who are making fun of me and being nasty is very sad. Imagine Amira and her family are reading these comments,” Abdu wrote.
The Tajikistani singer went on to say that his wedding announcement has become no less than a “nightmare”. “We went public after a lot of discussion and reluctance and unfortunately it is going from best news to a nightmare. People get married who are deaf blind no arms no legs but because I’m small you make fun of me. My health is good allhamdulillah and I deserve to be happy also,” he added.
Abdu Rozik left everyone surprised when he took to his Instagram handle to announce that he will get married in July 2024. He later revealed that ladylove’s name is Amira and that they met at an eatery in Dubai for the first time when they fell in love with each other. “She is pretty, has long hair and beautiful eyes. I introduced myself and we exchanged numbers. We have known each other for the last four months. She is studying business administration in Sharjah,” he told Bombay Times.
Abdu and Amira are now engaged and are planning for a big fat wedding in Dubai in July 2024. Their wedding is also likely to be attended by several Indian celebrities including Salman Khan and Shiv Thakare.
