South Korean girl group BLACKPINK member Jennie was recently spotted enjoying herself at The Weeknd’s birthday bash in Los Angeles. The Canadian singer-songwriter rang in his birthday celebrations at the Los Angeles Theatre on February 16. Among the many star-studded celebrities invited to the bash, Jennie was among them. Her camaraderie with The Weeknd started in 2023 when the duo appeared in HBO’s limited series The Idol. Seems like Jennie and The Weeknd’s friendship has grown stronger in a year with the You and Me singer joining the celebrations of The Weeknd’s special day. But it was Jennie’s exquisite attire from the party that arrested the attention of eagle-eyed fans.
Although Jennie did not share any pictures, the founder of Tohme Jewellery, Mimi Tohme dropped a string of photos from the night on Instagram featuring the SOLO singer. Fans of Jennie were quick to heap praise on her OOTN. In one of the snaps, Mimi and Jennie were captured taking a mirror selfie. The two twinned in all-black ensembles sharing a warm hug. Jennie slipped into a ritzy see-through mini-dress, that came with full sleeves and a ruched pattern. She sported minimal-glam makeup with diamond jewellery and a loosely-tied ponytail. Mimi donned a halter-neck black gown.
As soon as the post surfaced on the internet, social media users rallied to the comments, expressing their joy in seeing Jennie, slaying in her chic-girl look. “Jennie is the hottest woman in the world. She is so beautiful,” wrote one individual. Flooring over her outfit, one fan claimed, “Jennie needs to post this fit on her Instagram.” “Thanks for sharing the picture with Jennie,” read another remark. Some unseen clicks went viral on the X platform as well.

Jennie essayed the role of a duplicitous backup- dancer Dyanne in The Idol, who tried her best to reach the top. Although it was her debut performance, viewers were impressed by her acting chops in the series. Created by The Weeknd and directed collaboratively by Euphoria fame Sam Levinson and Reza Fahim, The Idol also boasted a cast ensemble of Troye Sivan, Dan Levy, Lily-Rose Depp, and Hari Nef among others. Abel Makkonen Tesfaye aka The Weeknd slipped into the shoes of a charismatic cult leader Tedros.
