In an interview with Mashable, Bhumi Pednekar shared that her first paycheck was from Yash Raj Films, and it was Rs 7,000. The diva shared that she was extremely excited about the same and gave it to her mother. She even mentioned that her mother still must have kept it with her.
Besides, the Subh Mangal Saavdhan actress also shared that she would repay her education loan with her earnings, which she took to study acting at Whistling Woods International. However, Bhumi was later expelled from the institute due to low attendance.
During her stint at YRF as an assistant casting director, Bhumi assisted famous casting director Shanoo Sharma. During her tenure at the YRF, Bhumi auditioned several actors, including Ranveer Singh for Band Baaja Baaraat.
Known for her commitment to her roles, Bhumi gained 12 kg for her debut film, Dum Laga Ke Haisha, and then lost significant weight post-filming, which garnered media attention.
