Janhvi Kapoor never shies away from expressing her fondness for Shikhar Pahariya. Recently, her father and film producer, Boney Kapoor, also confirmed that the actress is in a romantic relationship with Shikhar. So it came as a surprise when Janhvi skipped sharing any birthday greeting for her boyfriend on social media. Shikhar celebrated his birthday on April 3. Shikhar, on the other hand, had posted a loved-up photo of them on his Instagram stories to mark Janhvi’s birthday last month.
The picture featured both of them standing in front of the Eiffel Tower. Shikhar’s arm was wrapped around Janhvi’s shoulder, and her arm was around his waist. Keeping it simple yet sweet, Shikhar captioned the post by writing, “Happy Birthday” along with a red heart emoji.
Meanwhile, Shikhar’s younger brother, Veer Pahariya, has wished him by sharing an adorable photo of them from their childhood. Veer simply wrote, “Happy Birthday,” alongside a cake and kiss emoji. Orhan Awatramani aka Orry also took to his Instagram stories to wish Shikhar on his birthday.
During a recent interview, Boney spoke at length about his fondness for Shikhar. “I love him (Shikhar) and in fact, in between a couple of years back Janhvi was not seeing him but I was still friendly to him. I was convinced he can never be an ex. He’ll be around. When any person is there for you in any capacity whether it’s for me, whether it’s for Janhvi, whether it’s for Arjun, he is friendly to all. So I feel we’re blessed to have somebody like him in our set up,” Boney told Zoom.
Shikhar Pahariya is the grandson of politician and Maharashtra’s former Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde. Reportedly, Shikhar and Janhvi were in a serious relationship earlier but then broke up. The duo reportedly patched up last year. They are often spotted together. Shikhar has also posed for paps with Boney Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor on several occasions.
