Jr NTR Feels Overwhelmed After Devara Gets Standing Ovation in LA: 'The Day I Had Been Waiting For...'
The film, which released today, has not only impressed fans but also audiences watching it at Beyond Fest.

Jr NTR starring Devara has finally been released today. The film, which also stars Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, has been getting an overwhelming response from the audience. Recently, Devara received a thunderous standing ovation during a special screening in Los Angeles. Well, reacting to the same, Jr NTR expressed his gratitude and wrote that he has been waiting for this day to come.

Taking to his X handle, Jr NTR wrote, “The day I had been waiting for is finally here… Overwhelmed by your incredible reactions. Thank you Koratala Siva garu, for envisioning Devara with such engaging drama and emotional experience. My brother  @anirudhofficial, your music and background score brought this world to life. Special thanks to my producers, Harikrishna Kosaraju garu and Sudhakar Mikkilineni garu for being the strongest pillars. Huge gratitude to  @RathnaveluDop sir,  @sabucyril sir, @sreekar_prasad sir, and every technician for their amazing work. To my fans, witnessing your celebrations for Devara makes me so elated. In the video, we can see Jr NTR entering the house and people are standing for him. He thanked them with folded hands. The film, which released today, has not only impressed fans but also audiences watching it at Beyond Fest. A journalist present in the room called Devara ‘explosive, exhilarating & flat-out terrific adrenaline rush.’

Jr NTR fans did not leave any stone unturned to ensure their favourite superstar and his film, Devara, get a grand welcome. Devara was released in theatres today, September 27. The film marks Jr NTR’s first solo release in six years and his first since RRR. Devara had a few early morning shows in the South, especially Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where the fans turned the film’s release into a celebration.

Several venues installed massive cutouts of Jr NTR. The cutouts were adorned with garlands, some covering the actor’s body. A video also revealed fans performing Paal Abhishekam (a ritual in which a deity is bathed with milk) before Devara’s first day first show. In another, a fan was seen bursting crackers. These videos capture the excitement for Devara.
