Tiger Shroff starrer Munna Michael has so far garnered Rs 24.12 crores from its opening weekend plus first Monday. However, day 5 i.e. Tuesday saw the footfall for Munna Michael dwindling to 50% at the box office. The light heart dance/musical opened with a welcome box office collection of ₹6.62 crores on Friday, ₹6 crores on Saturday, grossing ₹8.5 crores on Sunday followed by ₹3 crores on Monday.
Tuesday figures are still awaited however the presence on Single screens was minimal and given the week ahead is set for some good releases, it will be difficult for Munna Michael to hold its ground.
Debutante Nidhhi Agerwal has stunned the audience with her dance moves opposite dance pro Tiger Shroff. Sources suggest that it was Nidhhi’s dancing skills that landed her a role in Munna Michael. Nawazuddin's adaptation to a dance enthusiast is what tickles the funny bones of the viewers while Tiger aka Munna Michael is a retreat to the Michael Jackson fans. The film critics as well as moviegoers have unanimously upvoted for Tiger's emulation of Michael Jackson popular dance moves.
Given all the good work and fun Munna Michael brings, it is difficult for the movie to gather its making costs and emerge a super flick for Tiger. But for the moment, let’s say kya lena jahaan se, ye meri adaa hai and shake it like Michael:
