Neena Gupta Recalls Not Having Money For A Nanny To Raise Masaba Gupta: 'Lekin Bachhe Pal Jaate Hai'

On Mothers Day, Neena Gupta opened up about motherhood and gave some beautiful bits of advice to her daughter Masaba, who is all set to welcome her first child. The veteran actress shared that, against all odds, her motherhood journey has been wonderful, and it would be for every other woman who wishes to become a mom.

Masaba shared a video with Neena in which the latter opened up about the same. Masaba was heard asking what piece of advice she’d give her and other moms. “It’s not a very big deal. Having kids is easy. Bas bhagwan pe bharosa rakho, sab smoothly ho jaata hai. Jaisi ku tum Jaanti ho, I had only 2000 bucks when you were born, and I was in this profession. Haan Mujhe tension thi, lekin sab ho jaata hai. Mere pass nanny rakhne ke liye bhi paise nahi the, bhagwan ji ne Meri bua ko bhej diya. Aapko toh mehnat toh karni padegi,but don’t get tensed about it, bachhe pal jaate hai. Aapko thodi extra mehnat karni padti hai, but it is worth it.”

At the time of Neena’s autobiography, Sach Kahu Toh, was releasaing, Masaba revealed that her mother had only Rs 2000 in her account. “When I was born, my mum had Rs 2000/- in her bank account. A timely tax reimbursement would bump that number up to Rs 12,000/- and ofcourse I was a C-section baby. As I read mom’s biography I learnt so many things & the hardships she has had to endure. I work very hard every single day of my life & never ever let anyone not give me what I deserve only to make sure I can pay her back for bringing me into this world…..with interest!” she said.

Neena brought up Masaba as a single mother. It was only in 2008 that she found love and married Vivek Mehra. Masaba announced her pregnancy earlier this year.
