The one-minute, 21-second trailer hints that Malayalee From India is a gritty tale of violence, and Nivin Pauly’s character shifts abroad for survival. The teaser also provides the idea that the film has dramatic action scenes. Earlier, it was thought that Malayalee From India would be a fun-riding comedy drama with Nivin Paul and Dhyan Sreenivasan playing the main leads. It is Nivin Pauly’s 43rd film.
The trailer, which was released earlier, has till now garnered 9,77,916 views on YouTube. Fans showered their feedback in the comments section. One of the users wrote, “Blockbuster Vibes!". Malayalee From India is directed by Dijo Jose Antony and written by Sharis Mohammed. The cinematography is handled by Sudeep Elamon, and the editing is done by Sreejith Sarang. The music is scored by Jakes Bejoy. The film also stars Anaswara Rajan, Manju Pillai, and Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar, and Vijayakumar in pivotal roles.
The film is backed jointly by Nivin’s Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen’s Magic Frames. Malayalee From India is all set to hit screens on May 1. Nivin Pauly is working on a film with debutant director Aaryan Ramani Girijavallabhavan. He will also debut on Disney+ Hotstar with the web series Pharma, directed by Finals-fame Arun PR.
Nivin Pauly was last seen in the Malayalam-language period comedy drama film based on the South Indian film industry, Varshangalkku Shesham. Vineeth Sreenivasan wrote and directed the movie. It was backed and distributed by Visakh Subramaniam of Merryland Cinemas.
