As a hint, you must know that he is also a top name in Bollywood. OTT has given actors like Saif Ali Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sonakshi Sinha some of their finest projects. This also includes the hefty salaries they are paid for their work, becoming the highest earning names in the country. Currently, that list is topped by Bollywood’s Singham, Ajay Devgn.
As per reports, Ajay Devgn was paid a whopping Rs 18 crore per episode for his thriller series Rudra: The Edge of Darkness, released on Disney Plus Hotstar. So, for the whole 7-episode show, his salary amounted to an unbelievable Rs 125 crore.
Another name made the list, who is known as one of the most skillful actors in our country, Manoj Bajpayee. The reports say that he was paid Rs 10 crore for portraying Srikant Tiwari, in Amazon Prime’s The Family Man.
Dubbed as a psychological crime thriller, Rudra was released on March 4, 2022 on Disney Plus Hotstar. It is made under the direction of Rajesh Mapuskar, while Ishan Trivedi, Abbas Dalal and Hussain Dalal are the writers. The cast of the show includes names like Ajay Devgn, Raashii Khanna, Esha Deol, Atul Kulkarni and Ashwini Kalsekar among others. Sameer Nair produced the show under the banners of BBC Studios India and Applause Entertainment.
He was last seen in the critically acclaimed biographical Maidaan, where he portrayed the role of Syed Abdul Rahim. The film is directed by Amit Sharma and also stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Devyansh Tripathi and more.
Some of his upcoming projects include films like Singham Again, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Raid 2.
