Producer Vipin Das of Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey fame is directing his next Malayalam film, Guruvayoor Ambala Nadayil. The makers recently unveiled the first teaser of the film on Thursday, April 18. The teaser opens with Basil Joseph’s character praying about the uncertainty of getting married while resting on a bed with two other men by his side. Prithviraj Sukumaran can be seen making a heroic entry. The movie appears to be a comedy drama. Nikhila Vimal seems to play a quirky and jovial woman in the film. More characters are also seen in the teaser talking about Basil and Nikhila’s marriage, which causes a lot of chaos. The 1 minute 49 seconds teaser is currently going viral.
Till now, the teaser has garnered 1,125,816 views on YouTube. While viewers shared their feedback in the comment box. One of the users commented, “All The Best Prithvi, Basil, Vipin & Entire Team." Another one said, “Next blockbuster." Many dropped heart emojis in the comment box.
Earlier, in January, the makers unveiled its first look that featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Basil Joseph, Anaswara Rajan, and Nikhila Vimal the principal cast members of the comedic entertainer. Basil and Anaswara are featured as the bride and groom on the poster.
The poster also features actors PP Kunhikrishnan, Siju Sunny, Jagadish, Rekha Harris, Prithviraj, Nikhila, and Yogi Babu. The first look is basically a group photo clicked at a wedding function. The whole cast is seen in the poster as a single large family at the wedding.
The film, Guruvayoorambala Nadayil is produced jointly by Supriya Menon, Mukesh R Mehta, and C V Sarathy. Deepu Pradeep (Kunjiramayanam, Perilloor Premier League) is the writer of the project.
While Ankit Menon has composed the film’s music, Johnkutty is in charge of the editing, and Neeraj Revi handles the cinematography.
Prithviraj Sukumaran was recently seen in the Bollywood movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan alongside Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Alaya F, Sonakshi Sinha and Manushi Chillar. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and released in theatres on April 11, 2024.
