Raksha Bandhan Throwback: Shraddha Kapoor With Siddhanth Kapoor And Priyaank Sharma

Most people in the country are celebrating the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan today with their siblings. Shraddha Kapoor has over the years proved that this day is quite significant for her, and the actress makes it a point to spend the day with her brothers. A bunch of throwback pictures of the actress tying Rakhis to her brother Siddhanth Kapoor and cousin Priyaank Sharma is doing the rounds.

In the first picture, Shraddha Kapoor is seen doing an aarti for her brothers along with another young girl. The following pictures show all four siblings posing together. The actress was seen wearing a simple pink ethnic kurta while her brothers were dressed casually for the occasion. Shraddha’s brother, Siddhanth Kapoor, is an actor as well as an assistant director. He has starred in films such as Ugly, Haseena Parkar, and most recently, The Heist. Her cousin, Priyaank Sharma, on the other hand, was seen in the film Sab Kushal Mangal.

As of now, Shraddha Kapoor is basking in the success of her latest release, Stree 2. The film has taken the box office by storm. Although the film competed with Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham’s Vedaa, it managed to be more commercially successful than the others. Stree 2 grossed over Rs 190 crore in its debut weekend.

Stree 2’s plot revolves around a new demon who terrorises the small town of Chanderi. The demon is a headless monster who kidnaps ladies at night, forcing Stree’s reappearance. Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) and his friends played by Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khuranas set out on a mission to defend the hamlet. They are joined by the mysterious girl (Shraddha Kapoor), who helps them defeat the demon. Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2 is the latest part in Maddock Films’ Supernatural universe. Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande produced the flick, which also has cameos by Varun Dhawan, Tamannaah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar.

Meanwhile, according to a recent Times Now report, Shraddha Kapoor is expected to star alongside Hrithik Roshan in the next installment of the popular superhero film Krrish. The announcement has sparked enthusiasm among fans, who are waiting for more details on the plot.
