Ranbir Kapoor recently talked about taking therapy. The actor revealed that he has tried therapy but it did not work for him because he was scared to open up. Ranbir made this revelation on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast, People by WTF. Nikhil recently dropped the trailer for the upcoming episode and it has already caught everyone’s attention due to Ranbir’s revelation.
In the trailer, Ranbir said, “I have tried therapy. I have nothing against therapy, it’s just that I have to open myself up and I’m very scared of opening up." Ranbir asked Nikhil, “Do you go to therapy thinking that it’s the gym for the mind?" The host replied, “It makes me perform even better at work."

Ranbir also said, “I dated two very successful actresses and that just became my identity that he’s a Cassanova and I was labelled a ‘cheater’ for a very large part of my I still am." When asked if this still bothers him, the actor just smiled.
In the trailer, Ranbir also spoke about how the birth of his daughter, Raha, felt like his heart was put into his arms. He said that while Raha looks at Alia Bhatt as an extension of herself, she seeks “masti" when it comes to Ranbir. Contrarily, Ranbir also mentioned how his late father, Rishi Kapoor, was a strict man to whom he couldn’t say no.
While the trailer has created quite an excitement among Ranbir’s fans, they are also eagerly waiting to see him as Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor will be playing the role of Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, whereas Sai Pallavi will be seen essaying the role of Sita. Recently, photos of the two actors from the sets of the film leaked online in which they were seen in their Ram and Sita avatars respectively. Reportedly, KGF star Yash has been roped in to play Ravana in the movie. The film will also star Arun Govil and Lara Dutta as Dashrath and Kaikeyi respectively. Reportedly, the makers have also roped in Sunny Deol for the role of Hanuman. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
Ramayana’s release date has not been announced as of now. However, trade analyst Sumit Kadel recently claimed that the makers are planning to release the Ranbir Kapoor starrer in 2027. This means that fans will have to wait for almost three years before they can see Ranbir as Lord Ram on screen.
