Ranveer Singh Calls His 93-year-old Nana ‘Rockstar’ As He Votes, Fans Applaud; See Photo

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone set the internet on fire when they stepped out to vote on Monday. The actress flaunted her baby bump for the first time too. Well, today the Don 3 actor once again grabbed attention after he posted a photo of his nana and also praised him for stepping out to vote at the age of 93.

Taking to his Instagram, he shared a photo in which we can see his Nana posing with all smiles. He wrote, “93yrs old. 93°F outside. But he voted. He’s a voter! My Rockstar Nana #EveryVoteCounts.” As soon as he shared the photo, fans applauded his nana. One of them wrote, “Woww nana is age mein bhi handsome”. Another wrote, “He is sooooooooooooo coool my goodnesss … Nanajiiii taveeen jaaaam cute aaaayo blesss youuu.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh has reportedly opted out of Prasanth Varma’s ‘Rakshas’, which is set against the backdrop of Indian mythology. Ranveer’s character was rumoured to embody a complex character with shades of negativity and darkness. However, as per the latest report, Ranveer and Prasanth have decided to part ways on the project due to creative differences. “Ranveer had travelled to Hyderabad in April for a photo shoot to announce the film. While all the plans were set, the official announcement has now hit a roadblock. Ranveer Singh will no longer be a part of Prashanth Varma’s Rakshas. They have amicably parted ways due to creative differences,” a source close to the development informed Pinkvilla.

“They were exploring and deciding several solutions, but they have decided to move on now with the promise of collaborating in the near future,” the source added. Prasanth, who has directed ‘HanuMan’, will restart the casting process for ‘Rakshas’, as he plans to bring this film to the big screen before moving on to ‘Jai HanuMan’.”

Ranveer Singh will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, which features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, he is involved in Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’. Last year, Farhan Akhtar unveiled Ranveer Singh as the new Don in Don 3: The Final Chapter.
