New Delhi: Actor Shah Rukh Khan's father-in-law Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber passed away around 9 pm on Tuesday.
As reports suggest, he was rushed to Escorts hospital in New Delhi where he breathed his last.
Both Shah Rukh and his wife Gauri Khan immediately left for the capital to pay their last respects.
The last rites were performed at Lodhi crematorium earlier today.
Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is extremely close to the superstar and his wife was also present at the cremation ground.

Colonel Ramesh Chander Chhibber, who hails from Hoshiarpur district shifted to Delhi in 1970. He was married to Savita Chibber and is succeeded by two kids, daughter Gauri and son Vikrant.
