London: Actor Steve Carell thinks he will gain the "love" of his wife of 11 years, Nancy Carell, if he wins a Golden Globe. The 53-year-old star is nominated for the best performance by an actor in a motion picture (Comedy or Musical) for his portrayal of Mark Baum in 'The Big Short'.

He joked he might finally get his wife's "approval" if he wins, reported Female First.

Speaking in a joint interview, he quipped: "[If I win, I] might finally gain my wife's love and approval." Whilst Nancy joked back, "Well you already won one, so that was good for 10 years. But it's worn off."
