The 2023 Telugu crime thriller Katha Venuka Katha has been creating buzz since it premiered on the popular OTT platform ETV Win on March 28. Although the film is grabbing eyeballs, its performance failed to meet the expectations of the audience at the box office last year.
Renowned comedian and actor Sunil plays a crucial role in the film. Alongside him, Keshav Deepak and Raghu Babu are also seen in lead roles. Other actors include Satyam Rajesh, Srijita Gosh, Madhunandan, Khayyum, and Jaya Prakash in important roles.
Written and directed by E Krishna Chaithanya, Katha Venuka Katha features music by Shravan Bharadwaj and cinematography by Shekar Ganganamoni. Meanwhile, the film is produced by Dandamudi Avanindra Kumar.
Last year, the film hit the silver screens on May 12. Now, the film is streaming on the Telugu OTT platform, ETV Win, and is receiving positive acclaim from the audience. This suspense thriller has garnered a favourable response from audiences soon after its release.
The movie received an impressive 7.3 out of 10 rating on IMDB. The film has managed to grab the audience’s interest with its storyline and plot.
Producer Avanindra Kumar is content with the review and how it is performing on the OTT screens. He shared about spending a hefty amount of money to make the movie a box-office hit.
Sunil is best known for films including Sita Raman, Jailer, Maryada Ramanna and Pushpa: The Rise- Part 1. The actor was last seen in the film Vey Dharuvey. He has a few films in the pipeline including Pushpa: The Rule- Part 2, Game Changer, Turbo, Bullet, Full Bottle, Indra, Zebra, Ajagrata and Valli Mayil, to name a few.
Meanwhile, Keshav Deepak shot to fame with films such as Sita Raman, Perfume, Rakshasudu and Bhaagamathie. He last appeared in Razakar: The Silent Genocide of Hyderabad. Now, he is all set to star in a slew of upcoming films like Punch, Silence, Harom Hara, Robinhood, Sabari, ARI (My Name is Nobody) and Emi Sethura Linga among others.
