Tamil Rights For Thalapathy Vijay's The GOAT Sold For A Huge Price

The Greatest of All Time – The GOAT – is an upcoming sci-fi action film starring Vijay in the lead role, scheduled to release on September 5. Written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film is a production of AGS Entertainment. On Friday, the production company said that the distribution rights of The GOAT in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala have been sold.

The distribution rights of The Greatest of All Time in Tamil Nadu have been acquired by Romeo Pictures. Romeo Pictures has also acquired the distribution rights of The GOAT in Karnataka.

The distribution rights of The Greatest of All Time for Kerala are with Sree Gokulam Movies. Kerala is the second strongest regional market for actor Vijay, after his home state of Tamil Nadu.

On the special day of Thalapathy Vijay’s birthday, director Venkat Prabhu dropped a small clip from the film featuring Thalapathy Vijay’s double-role characters of both father and son.

In the clip, two Vijays are attacking the enemies on a bike. Vijay has played two different roles as father and son in the film.

The video is currently garnering everyone’s attention. To wish Thalapathy Vijay a happy birthday, director Venkat Prabhu took to his official Twitter handle to share the video. Along with this, he wrote, “Happy birthday to THE GOAT, Thalapathy Vijay. I love you, na. See you tomorrow!“.

The post has till now garnered 8.5 lakh views. Recently, producer Archana Kalpathi confirmed on her Instagram story that the post-production work is going on in full swing.

The makers of GOAT have now signed their satellite partner and the satellite rights have been sold at a high price. As per reports, GOAT will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The film will also be dubbed in Malayalam and Kannada via satellite.
