Thalapathy Vijay's Wife Sangeetha Makes RARE Appearance, Pays Respects To Murasoli Selvam

Thalapathy Vijay’s wife Sangeetha stepped out to offer her condolences to MK Stalin and his family after the death of his brother-in-law, Murasoli Selvam. Sangeetha was seen making her way to M Karunanidhi’s house, where Murasoli’s mortal remains have been placed. She was seen offering her last respects to him.

Sangeetha also met with MK Stalin and the family to offer her condolences. Fans noticed that Vijay did not accompany her for the mourning. Watch the video below:

Earlier this year, Thalapathy Vijay and Sangeetha were subjected to divorce rumours. It was claimed that they were living separately. These rumours were unfounded as Sangeetha attended Aishwarya Shankar’s wedding reception on his behalf. Pictures of Sangeetha at the event have circulated widely online, debunking the speculation. Vijay and Sangeetha are yet to address the reports of their divorce.

Meanwhile, Murasoli died on Thursday, October 10. He was a journalist, DMK’s mouthpiece Murasoli and brother-in-law of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. Murasoli Selvam was married to MK Stalin’s sister Selvi. According to ANI, Murasoli died in Bengaluru. India Today reported that he had a heart attack. He passed away on Thursday, at the age of 82.

In a statement to the press, Stalin said he had lost his pillar. “I am deprived of a shoulder to rest on and a pillar of ideological support after that of Kalaignar (Karunanidhi). The demise of Selvam has left my heart bleeding with agony, hit by a thunderbolt. Right from my childhood, he was a brother, guide, and counsellor in politics, offering solutions with clarity. Furthermore, he stood shoulder to shoulder with me in my growth as well as that of the DMK,” he said.
