Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited film Zero. Also starring Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, Zero celebrates the 'incompleteness in people'. In the film, directed by Aanand L Rai, Shah Rukh plays the role of a vertically challenged man, named Baua Singh. While Katrina plays a popular actress battling alcoholism, Anushka reportedly essays the role of a wheelchair-bound scientist.
The film's trailer has garnered much appreciation response from the viewers. While some praised the film for its spectacular visual effects, others lauded SRK for taking on the challenging role.
However, in a recent interview SRK opened up about how one scene from the film made him a little awkward. No, it wasn't his onscreen kissing sequence with Katrina Kaif's Babita Kumari! The actor felt awkward about the scene wherein he tells Anushka that "Humare yahan plot dekhne ke liye paise nahi lagte," apparently because the actor had never spoken to anyone in this manner in real, according to TOI.
Talking about the preparation that went into his character, SRK told The Quint, “The aim of the film is to celebrate equality so I wasn’t really viewing him as someone different. In terms of the VFX there were a lot of aspects that had to be taken care of and we modelled it on this guy called Ashish, so that we would have an idea about the height difference between the characters.”
"I think the VFX team also realised that they had to just let us be, even though they are just doing their job. Aanand, Himanshu and myself don’t really have a plan as such, that we could pre-visualise the scene earlier. Acting is often free flowing and we wanted it to be like that, and so luckily for us the VFX team also understood that," he added.
