Vijay Deverakonda's Look From VD12 Leaks, Producer Makes Special Request to Fans: 'Past 6 Months...'

Vijay Deverakonda is busy filming his upcoming movie, currently dubbed as VD12. While the actor has been away from the spotlight to keep his look under the wraps, a couple of photos from the sets of VD12 have surfaced online, revealing his look. In the photos gone viral on X, Vijay was seen sporting a rugged look. Hours after the leak, the film’s producer issued a statement, requesting fans not to circulate the photos.

In one of the photos, Vijay Deverakonda was seated in the pillion seat of a bike and riding along the beach coast. In the second photo, he looked directly at the camera. He was filming a scene in the middle of what seems to be a festival in the village. In both the photos, he was sporting cropped hair and a beard.

As soon as the photos went viral, the producers of the film — Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments — took to X and pleaded to fans. They revealed that the team is working hard in Sri Lanka to wrap the film and they are done film 60 per cent of the film. Keeping this in mind, they requested fans from not sharing Vijay’s leaked photos.

“Dear Rowdy fans, we share your excitement and enthusiasm! Team #VD12 is working very hard to bring you an unforgettable theatrical experience. Till date, we have completed 60% of the shoot and are currently filming in Sri Lanka,” the statement read.

“For the past six months, we have been keeping details under wraps. Preserving the first look for a red hot official unveiling. We kindly ask you to refrain from sharing any leaks and wait for the official announcement. Coming very soon!” they added.

In VD12, Vijay Deverakonda essays the role of a spy. He shot a chunk of the film in Visakhapatnam before the team headed to Sri Lanka for the rest of the shoot. Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film’s release date is still unknown.
