Vishwak Sen's Critically Acclaimed Adventure Drama Gaami To Premiere On This OTT Platform

Telugu film Gaami, which received widespread acclaim for its compelling story and stellar performances, is all set to make its OTT debut this month. The Vishwak Sen-starrer epic adventure drama, released in theatres on March 8, is now gearing up for its online streaming premiere on April 12, exclusively on the Zee5 platform. The announcement was made by the official Zee5 Telugu Twitter account, which shared a promotional video for the upcoming release. In the tweet, they urged viewers to ‘fasten your seatbelts’ as they start a journey into the intriguing world of Gaami on ZEE5.

According to details provided in the promotional video, the film will be available to stream in Tamil and Kannada languages, catering to a wider audience base.

Gaami follows the story of an Aghori named Shankar, portrayed by Vishwak Sen, who sets out on a dangerous quest to find a cure for his rare medical condition. Along the way, he confronts his traumatic past while being accompanied by a young research scholar, Dr. Jahnavi, played by Chandni Chowdhary. The film received praise from both critics and audiences alike for its gripping narrative, stunning visuals and commendable performances by the cast.

Directed by Vidyadhar Kagita, Gaami marks his directorial debut and features Vishwak Sen in the lead role, supported by Chandini Chowdhary, Abhinaya, Harika Pedada, Mohammad Samad and others. Produced by Karthik Sabareesh and Swetha Moravaneni under various banners including Karthik Kult Kreations and V Celluloid, the film boasts an interesting soundtrack composed by Sweekar Agasthi and Naresh Kumaran. The cinematography is handled by Vishwanath Reddy Chelumalla, with editing by Raghavendra Thirun.

With its successful theatrical run, Gaami reportedly grossed around Rs 22 crore at the box office, further solidifying its position as a notable addition to the Telugu cinema landscape.
